We have a fantastic team of nutrition contractors serving the Puget Sound region. Some of our nutrition experts provide consultation for community events and wellness programs while others focus on nutrition counseling. Here are introductions to a few of our RDN team:

​Mikeisha Brannock is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and Washington native who believes that building a healthier lifestyle can be fun and delicious. With experience in both urban and rural communities, Mikeisha utilizes an individualized approach to help clients identify and meet their unique health goals. As a Clinical Dietitian, Mikeisha works with a variety of acute and chronic health conditions-including behavioral health. When not working in the hospital, she can be found throughout the community leading nutrition focused cooking demonstrations and behind the scenes helping with our SD social media accounts. She is interested in the Mediterranean diet, developing sustainable food systems, and the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular disease. In her spare time, she loves to play with her dog Otis, develop recipes, and practice strength training.

Kelsy Baker is a registered dietitian nutritionist who incorporates functional medicine into her practice. She believes optimal wellness is achieved by creating custom treatment plans according to each patient’s unique profile. Kelsy’s clients learn how to make educated and sustainable health decisions through individualized counseling, group sessions, and cooking demonstrations. Her interests include gut health, maternal nutrition, meal planning, and using nutrition as a tool to manage chronic disease. When the sun is shining, you will find her outside fishing, swimming, or hiking trails with her family. On rainy days, she’ll be tucked inside with an oat milk latte. 


Olivia Love is a registered dietitian nutritionist who was born, raised and attended school in Washington state. With many years of experience working in hospitals, restaurants, gardens and community centers, she has a passion for nutrition both in and outside of the clinical realm. Olivia focuses on evidence-based and sustainable approaches with her clients; she believes small, positive changes are the key to success. Using an unbiased approach, she strives to help others eliminate food fears and support the intuitive eater that is innate in all of us. Her current interests are in diabetes management, oncology nutrition, and integrative health. When she’s not experimenting in the kitchen, she enjoys painting, reading, concerts, and backpacking.



​Leah Swanson is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist born and raised in Seattle. She is passionate about nutrition communications and providing accurate nutrition information in this complex world of health and nutrition. You can find Leah writing behind the scenes on the Sound Dietitians blog, as well as in the community leading cooking demos and nutrition presentations on hot topics. She has a special interest in gut-health, IBS, and the low FODMAP diet. In her free time, she loves to create recipes, try new restaurants, and practice yoga. 



Taelin Lanier is an upbeat Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist native to the Pacific Northwest. She  motivates clients in reclaiming their fullest lives by supporting change in healthy thinking, nutritious eating and sustainable living. Taelin works with a variety of acute and chronic health conditions and has a special place in her heart for patients with diabetes. With her “all foods can fit” philosophy, Taelin’s approach is free of regimented diets and food judgement. Taelin will work with you using sound research-based approaches, while keeping your experiences, values, and budget in the forefront of your plan. Outside of the office, Taelin enjoys training her German Shepard, paddle boarding, and learning Latin ballroom dance.


​Amanda Lungren is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with experience in family nutrition, diabetes management, weight management, exercise science, behavioral health nutrition and more. She enjoys guiding clients in finding a realistic and sustainable way to nourish their bodies without restrictive food rules. Amanda helps clients from a variety of backgrounds achieve their nutrition goals, keeping in mind personal values, food culture and accessibility. She enjoys meeting new people and building connections through counseling and community events. She loves life in the Pacific Northwest and often spends weekends outdoors with her family or inside with a hot cup of coffee and a good book or podcast.


​Colleen Drosdeck is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist who utilizes an individualized approach to help her clients reach their health related goals.  She treats each individual with empathy, enthusiasm, and an open-mind. With her guidance, clients can achieve long-term success by implementing sustainable dietary and lifestyle changes. Colleen will help you identify and overcome barriers while capitalizing on your strengths. She works with clients in person and via telehealth, and has experience in the areas of medically supervised weight loss, general weight management, cardiovascular health, diabetes, vegetarian diets, and elimination diets. In addition, she has a passion for incorporating aspects of integrative and functional nutrition into her practice. For fun, Colleen and her family spend their weekends skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, paddle boarding and camping.

Megan Ellison is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, Certified Specialist in Obesity & Weight Management and a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist. ​In addition to these specialties, Megan has a particular interest in gut health, with additional training in conditions such as IBS and SIBO. She enjoys helping people make positive and realistic nutrition and lifestyle changes in order to enhance their health and quality of life. As the owner of Sound Dietitians, Megan loves supporting and celebrating her dietitian colleagues through providing various consulting opportunities across the Puget Sound region. One of Megan’s passions is in mentoring the next generation of nutrition professionals and the SD team happily hosts many dietetic interns each year. For exercise, Megan prefers dance and yoga and for relaxation she plays piano.
